Guest speaker, Dr. Earl Suttle, started with asking the students to raise their hand if they want to be successful. He ended the program with students telling him five reasons they each will be successful.
As part of Dr. Earl Suttle's talk, he had members of the Youth Community Council hand out cards with positive affirmations on them. Suttle then asked students with the cards to read them aloud.
Nisa Miranda, Equitable Neighborhoods Initiative regional director, spoke on what ENI is working to bringing to Coosa County and how the youth can help.

Wednesday, the Coosa County Youth Community Council held a kickoff event for Coosa Central High School students to learn about the Equitable Neighborhoods Initiative (ENI).
Regional director Nisa Miranda said ENI is all about finding ways to foster community health. ENI plans to work with the Youth Community Council by having members collect information about the health needs in the county.
