Jordan Ford of Dadeville is the recipient of Southern Union State Community College’s Van Cleaves Scholarship.

First awarded in 1967, the scholarship is sponsored by the Southern Union Alumni Association in appreciation of Dr. A.R. Van Cleave and Vera Van Cleave for their many contributions to the college. Cleave served as Dean Emeritus of the college from 1971-1987.
