Governor candidate to host rally in Alex City

A justice for Toiyas Gopher rally has been scheduled for noon Monday, at the Tallapoosa County Courthouse C.J. Coley Annex. 

JaMel Jermaine Brown, who is running for governor of Alabama, announced this peaceful rally on Facebook Sunday afternoon. Brown said the intention of the rally is to honor Gopher, who was the alleged victim of a murder in Alexander City over the weekend.Â
