In two different operations, the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force arrested a total of four people on Tuesday for various drug charges including trafficking.

A search by the Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force on a vehicle driven by Marshall Pope, Atlanta, netted enough cocaine he was charged with trafficking.

A Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2025 Kia K4 for a traffic violation in Dadeville, a press release stated. During the stop the deputy developed probable cause to conduct a vehicle search. During the search, deputies located approximately 2.5 ounces of cocaine, 27 ounces of marijuana and $387 in cash, the release stated. The task force was notified and assisted in processing the scene and collection of evidence.Â
