The Horseshoe Bend Senior High Scholars Bowl team had its first win this past month and the Generals have their eyes on state. 

The team went to Wadley’s Southern Union State Community College campus for the tournament. Captain Harrison Hunter explained this tournament is a little different than others because they don’t ask math questions and there are no bounceback bonuses — meaning if the team got the question partially wrong, the other team can’t answer just part of it.
