Horseshoe Bend teacher receives state recognition

Felicia Williams has been positively impacting students' lives for decades, but she never expected to receive such an award.

The Alabama Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences recently awarded Williams with the Bettye Brown Teacher Excellence Award. Williams has been a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher for the past 28 years and 19 of those years have been at Horseshoe Bend High School.
