The Mountain Dulcimer will soon be a multigenerational instrument for the Dadeville area.Â
The Dadeville Performing Arts Center (DPAC) recently started its “Build and Learn to Play a Mountain Dulcimer” after school program, funded by Alabama Power.Â

* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 154 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.

Creek, Northern Lake Martin, Daviston, Horseshoe Bend,
Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, Eagle Creek and

Lamar, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens,
Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega,
Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa and Walker.
* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
