Local fisherman wonders how much longer bank spots will be available around Lake Martin

Willie Charles McKinney takes a look at a shellcracker he caught with freshly dug worms Thursday afternoon. McKinney has lost some of his favorite fishing spots due to people littering and leaving trash, among other junk including tires and mattresses, on the banks.

Willie Charles McKinney loves to fish whether he catches anything or not – but some of his favorite spots are going away.

One of McKinney’s favorite spots used to be on a creek off of Dean Road.
