New bill aims to increase colorectal cancer screenings

With colon-rectal cancer being an increasing concern across the nation, Alabama may soon take action. 

According to the American Cancer Society, there have been roughly 152,000 new cases of colorectal cancer in 2024, and it is “the second most common cause of cancer deaths when numbers for men and women are combined.”
