A Jim Person staff member waved to parents as school began on Wednesday morning.

The first day of school has officially arrived for Alexander City Schools. Faculty at all five of the district’s schools welcomed students back to class on Wednesday, August 10. 

Teachers and staff at Jim Pearson Elementary School displayed their excitement in particular, and began the first school day with a special greeting for students.
