File / TPI The Destination Resort has been awarded the USA Today’s 10 Best Readers Choice Award for Best Glamping Stop at number four.

Skip and Rhonda Courtney did not realize Lake Martin would be the future home of their glamping resort, but after one look at Sandy Creek, they knew they were sold.  

The Destination Resort is on 78 acres with four glamping units. The glamps all have private hot tubs and fire pits offering one-bedroom or two-bedroom lodging. Guests also enjoy a variety of water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, swimming, wading and fishing along the creek.
