Alexander’s City no burn ban was lifted Monday afternoon, according to Alexander City fire chief Reese McAlister.

Sunday’s heavy rainfall was a key factor to the lifted ban. Raindrop.com reports Alexander City has received 2.15 inches of rain in October, with most of it falling this past weekend.
