Two new Alexander City ordinances were passed by the Alex City City Council Monday night to alleviate some of the financial burden caused by water and sewage rates.

The Alexander City City Council passed two ordinances Monday night to help lower the cost of water and sewage for Hillabee Towers and Alexander City Housing Authority.

Two residential nonprofits, Hillabee Towers and Alexander City Housing Authority, will now pay a different rate than for-profit apartments.
