A handful of residents in Jackson’s Gap are on their third day without running water, according to Gerald Haggerty, a resident of the Peckerwood Road area. According to Haggerty and other residents who wished to remain anonymous, water at their homes has been out since about 8 a.m. Sunday and had not been restored as of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Residents say it’s affecting their ability to live regularly and do simple tasks such as bathe themselves, cook and water their pets.
