With the upcoming consolidation of three Alexander City schools, the Alexander City Schools Board of Education heard from superintendent Dr. Jose Reyes on ownership issues concerning William L. Radney and Nathaniel H. Stephens elementary schools during the board’s work session Thursday night.

Both Radney and Stephens schools will close once consolidation is complete. Stephens students and fifth grade students from Radney will move to the current Alexander City Middle School. Middle school students will move to the vacant high school building along with Radney’s sixth graders.
