Every baseball team wants to have that one big inning, but what it doesn’t want is to have only one big inning.

But Benjamin Russell did that Saturday afternoon, and the Wildcats were lucky their one strong inning of the day was enough to earn them one win. But it also caused them a sloppy loss against cross-county rival Dadeville in the second game of a weekend tripleheader.
