It did not take long, but Horseshoe Bend standout Brynlee Alford already has a new nickname — Bayou Brynlee.

On Tuesday, Alford announced her commitment to play softball for the University of Louisiana Monroe. Since stepping into the circle her freshman year at Horseshoe Bend, it doesn’t take long to see why she was such a hot commodity for the Warhawks.
