It’s that time of the season when the slate is wiped clean and the area tournament commences. All of the teams in the coverage area have their date selected for Wednesday with two of the teams earning hosting rights — Horseshoe Bend and Dadeville. This year presents a new challenge to get to the AHSAA Regional Tournament, with sub-regionals just two days before. The newly introduced sub-regionals will be formatted similar to the basketball format, where the area runner-up will travel to an area winner for a shot at regionals. Check and see the path to get to the regional tournament.
