There have been countless examples of me jumping out of my seat to scream at the TV for an egregious call from an official. It’s one of the constant aspects of sports: a referee making a terrible call against your favorite team.
I’ve yelled at referees as a fan and as a player, but at the end of the day I could not change their ruling. However, the treatment of the officials, especially at the lower levels, is getting ridiculous.

Elmore, Etowah, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon,
Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell,
Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa and Tuscaloosa.
* WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
