A Facebook post alerted Alexander City District 1 councilor Bobby Tapley to garbage that was left piled up beside the now closed Dollar General on K Street.

Tapley decided to do something about it. About 7:30 a.m. Friday, he and Frank Tapley, who is running for District 4 councilor, cleaned the trash up.
