Freshmen preparing for step up to high school

For friends Rebecca Bernard, Ashley Taylor and Jared Steltenpohl, this school year will be unlike any they’ve experienced up to now. This year comes with worries about finding one’s place, excitement at making new friends and expectations of more freedom. This will be their freshman year at Benjamin Russell High School.

To help Bernard, Taylor, Steltenpohl and the rest of BRHS’s incoming freshman get off to a good academic start, the school held freshman orientation on Thursday, July 20.
