With the holiday season coming to a close, a new season is rapidly approaching: tax-filing season. With W-2 forms available, people can begin filing their taxes now. According to the IRS Web site, filing season should begin on time for most people.

“The IRS expects to be able to begin processing returns for the vast majority of taxpayers in mid-January,” according to the Web site.
