The most important meal of the day

Fresh Breakfast

This common adage, “Breakfast is a very important meal of the day,” has been repeated over and over; however, convincing most people to make this meal a priority is quite a challenge. Few feel they have time to fit breakfast into busy schedules, or they are not hungry. The American Dietetic Association position is that everyone could benefit from eating breakfast more often. Developing the habit at an early age may help children and adolescents manage their weight and instill healthy habits into adulthood.

Eating breakfast provides many benefits. Early risers could delay eating breakfast until their bodies wake up. Plan ahead and take breakfast on the go, if necessary. Breakfast will kickstart the body’s metabolism from that night sleep when the body and metabolic rate run slow.
