Nathan Mackinnon (L) celebrates scoring Canada's late winner over Finland at the 2026 Winter Olympics

Olympic ice hockey tournament favourites Canada came back from two goals down to beat Finland 3-2 in the final seconds to reach the Milan-Cortina Games final thanks to Nathan MacKinnon's late power play goal.

MacKinnon scored with a slapshot with 36 seconds remaining after Finnish defenseman Niko Mikkola had been sin-binned for high-sticking.
