SCV adds monuments to Confederate Armory Park

A remembrance of the Confederate States of America is growing in Tallassee.

The Tallassee Armory Guards Camp 1921 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) has been constructing Confederate Armory Park for the last several years on its property in downtown Tallassee. The park looks over the Tallapoosa River, Highway 14 and the Fitzpatrick Bridge.
