The Bryant-Jordan award is a statewide student-athlete scholarship program. The AHSAA recognizes a total of 52 athletes for the Larry D. Stripling Scholar-Athlete Award and an additional 52 athletes for the Ken and Betty Joy Blankenship Student-Athlete Achievement Award. Each of the regional winners receive a $3,000 scholarship, and are up for an additional $3,500 if they are selected as one of the 14 Class winners. 

Three of those 104 total student-athletes hail from Elmore County.
