Elmore County’s girls soccer team is on track to build its own dynasty. 

After defeating Sylacauga on Wednesday, 2-0, the Panthers will face Indian Springs in the quarterfinal round of the AHSAA Class 5A playoffs. Friday’s game — with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. in Pelham — will be the second consecutive meeting between the foes in the quarterfinals, dating back to last season.
