With area play on the horizon, the Elmore County baseball team  refused to lose any momentum to the break as they went out to Oxford to try their luck in a spring break experience tournament. ECHS played four games in two days, winning 3-of-4. 

On Wednesday, the Panthers faced Class 6A opponent McAdory (9-12) in the opening game of the tournament, winning 9-3 after getting the bats going for a four-run third inning. Evan Spence started on the mound, pitching through the first five innings. Out of the 20 he faced, Spence struck out six batters, walked three and gave up three runs and two hits. Ross Pike finished out the game with three strikeouts, giving up one hit and zero runs.
