With the 2025-26 school year coming to a close, senior student-athletes are making their commitments to continuing their athletic careers at the next level. At Elmore County High School, four student-athletes signed their NLIs.Â
Samuel Higgs / TPI Elmore County's Addison Hicks was named to the North-South All-Star softball team.
First was Addison Hicks, a three-sport athlete who signed her National Letter of Intent to continue playing softball at Faulkner University next season. Hicks was a second-team All-Elmore County nominee for volleyball and an honorable mention for basketball. This softball season, Hicks – who starts in centerfield – leads the Panthers in hits and runs with 25 and 22 respectively. As the leadoff batter, Hicks is averaging .510 at the plate with a 1.161 on base percentage plus slugging – leading her team in both categories.Â
