There are certain impacts that can’t be measured by statistics or numbers of any kind. Sometimes change, impact, improvement happens as gradually as a river wearing away a rock that sits on the bed for years and years until it becomes part of the river itself. 

When a coach takes over a program, he or she hopes to mold their players like the river molds the rock but it never happens overnight.
