Sixty of Alabama’s top high school basketball prospects are headed to the North-South All-Star games this summer, for which dates are yet to be announced. The AHSAA released four 15-member squads on Thursday, two representing the North and two representing the South. This season’s all star game marks the 30th anniversary of this elite competition for rising seniors in Alabama.

Wetumpka’s Tom Suddith was selected to the South All-Star team. Suddith, a power forward for the Indians, was a huge impact-player this season averaging 7.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and three blocks per game. Suddith is the first Wetumpka basketball player to be named to the North-South All-Star team in years, according to Wetumpka coach Steven Thomas.
