Elmore County and Tallassee face off against each other this Friday. The Tigers lead the all-time series 37-24-1 over the Panthers.
The Elmore County Panthers are set to take on their inter-county rivals, the Tallassee Tigers, at 7 p.m. Friday.Â
This showdown began back in 1951, with the Tigers taking the first game, 32-7. The Panthers and Tigers have played each other on the gridiron every year since 1971, over 50 years of a bitter rivalry. Despite being the smaller classification school, Tallassee has the upper-hand having beaten Elmore County in 37 matchups compared to their 24 total wins.Â

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
