Cliff Williams / TPI Tallassee Mayor Joey Wiginton speaks about some of his ideas for Tallassee as he starts his new role as mayor. It includes constructing a trail along the Tallapoosa River within the city limits and moving the police department to extra space at Community Hospital.

The new mayor sees a hotel on the west banks of the Tallapoosa River in the west mill site using the old rock structure as its exterior.
