Lights installed on East Tallassee buildings

Cliff William / TPI Lights have been installed on the edge of the roof of the East Tallassee Methodist Church. The lights were funded through a grant from the Coosa Valley RC&D to the Tallassee Redevelopment Authority. Timers still need be installed to allow more automation.

Lights lining the edges of buildings in downtown Tallassee have been in place for a couple years. Thanks to a grant from the Coosa Valley RC&D, lights have been installed in East Tallassee along Central Boulevard.

Tallassee Redevelopment Authority director Dr. Steve Burak said the group also applied to the Mid-South RC&D as well.
