Submitted / TPI An Ashurst Avenue fire in Tallassee Monday morning left two families without homes. Between two fires, 13 children are without clothing.

In less than 24 hours, two fires have left three families with 13 children without homes and clothing.

Sunday afternoon fire departments from Friendship, Eclectic and Tallassee responded to a mobile home fire in the Friendship community. Monday morning the same departments responded to a blaze at a duplex on Ashurst Avenue in Tallassee. Both times firefighters arrived on the scene to visible flames.
