Murder investigation leads to old solicitation for murder incident

An alleged January 2021 incident came to light in an investigation into a May murder in Tallassee.

As the Tallassee Police Department was investigating the shooting death of Ronderius Hooks, detectives discovered an unrelated alleged solicitation to facilitate Hooks’ death more than five years ago. Now, Robert Sharon Daniels, 41, of Tallassee, is facing the Class A felony offense of criminal solicitation - murder and Jamario Butler, 31, of Montgomery is charged with Hooks’ murder.
