The Tallassee City Council amended a 2020 ordinance prohibiting any additional new or used manufactured or mobile homes to be moved or installed with the city limits of Tallassee at its Monday meeting.                                                                                       

For the last couple of years, property owners have been seeking variances to install the homes on their property. The amended ordinance prevents that.
