Tallassee City School leaders are doing everything they can to encourage reading.

They joined staff at Southside Middle School, including media specialist Kaley Pugh, to cut the ribbon on the refreshed library where improvements were made over the summer. Improvements include new shelving paint, carpet, tables, chairs and a small couch and upholstered chairs.
