Tallassee City Schools superintendent Dr. Brock Nolin lost a long-term coworker to retirement.

Nolin and other educators celebrated the retirement of deputy superintendent Dr. Tessie Williams Thursday, but will not soon forget her marks on education in Tallassee. Williams came to Tallassee Elementary School as an assistant principal from Elmore County Schools. After eight years, she was brought into the central office.
