Tallassee middle Reese Gough (22) sends a kill over the net against Stanhope Elmore. Tallassee came out strong and won the first set but Stanhope Elmore came back to win the non-region game 2-1.

The volleyball season is quickly coming to an end and each team is looking towards their area tournaments, which begin this week. 

So it is a perfect time for outstanding players to make their mark on the season, especially the underclassmen that will be returning next season. For the Tallassee Tigers, sophomore middle Reese Gough has quickly emerged as that standout underclassman.
