Tallassee receiver Kam Tate receives the punt from Francis Marion and takes it up the field to put the Tigers in position to score.

The Tallassee Tigers showed out on Tuesday night at J.E. “Hot” O’Brien Stadium, defeating Francis Marion 34-0 and advancing to the second round of the AHSAA Class 1A-5A flag football playoffs.

The Tigers got on the board early with an interception from Marlee Osborne taken back to the house for the first six on the board. Cheyann Easterling threw an interception just before the end of the first quarter, and it seemed the momentum could shift in the Rams’ favor.
