Reeltown Elementary School third-grade teacher Tara Richards was uncertain where her diagnosis was headed, but she did not want that to keep her from telling her story.
Richards woke up one morning with a black spot on her right eye, which she could not see out of. After ignoring it for a few days and it growing a little painful, Richards’ husband told her to get it checked out. The couple did not know the optic neuritis was an indicator of multiple sclerosis.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be
wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
Those that have in ground sprinkler systems should drain them and
cover above ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
