Cliff Williams / TPI The Tallassee Fire Department recently took delivery of new brush truck. It is capable of carrying 500 gallons of water and fire fighter can put water on flames from inside the truck.

There is a new tool at the disposal of the Tallassee Fire Department — a new brush truck.

The new vehicle replaces a truck the department had been using for decades but was constantly needing repair.
