Ask anyone in the Wall Street community to name someone who is well regarded in the community and most likely the name Wilbur Terrell, Sr. will come up first.

Terrell’s name can be connected to many organizations such as the Wall Street Senior Center, the Wall Street Water Authority and improvement committees to Tuskegee’s Veterans Administration Hospital where Terrell worked for more than 33 years, retiring as chief of therapeutic recreation. He inspired family and friends into law enforcement. At the same time he officiated high school and college athletics for more than 40 years.
