Tallapoosa County criminal investigator Kaylie Painter recently graduated from Jacksonville State University’s Investigator Academy at The Center for Best Practices in Law Enforcement — the only program of its kind in the state. With Painter’s achievement, all four Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department criminal investigators are now Tier 1 certified.
