Ivy Creek Healthcare CEO Mike Bruce earning the Chamber Business Person of the Year award at the Lake Martin-Dadeville Area Chamber of Commerce awards banquet was a tribute to his passion for rural healthcare.

However Bruce sees this award as a recognition of his whole team. Over the course of his career, Bruce said his advocacy for healthcare does not stop at rural medicine, but for the industry as a whole. He said the worst it has ever been for healthcare was after the COVID-19 pandemic.
