The Dadeville High School junior high beta club did not just show up to the Alabama Junior Beta Convention; but a few members left with some awards.

The members participated in academic testing, a quiz bowl, a book battle, musicology, creative writing, poetry, cake decorating, performing arts, engineering, apparel and accessorized design as well as visual arts. DHS sixth graders Hudson Knight, Bailey Deloach and seventh grader Reagan Kane all placed in the competitions they participated in during the convention. The students also qualify to participate in the National Beta Convention in Nashville this summer.
