A local attorney saw a need and felt the call to respond. 

Calvin Burroughs opened Burroughs Law Firm in Dadeville in September, and recently joined Harvesters of Hope, a nonprofit organization founded to combat the attorney shortage in Alabama. Burroughs practices in the areas of criminal defense, immigration removal defense and personal injury. Burroughs grew up in the western part of Tuscaloosa County and his work experience sparked his passion for rural communities.
