From discovering to performing: Married duo return for Friday night showcase

A musical duo returned to Dadeville on Friday at the Dadeville Performing Arts Center for another showcase of their unique sound. The Gypsy Candlesticks discovery of DPAC, however, is one on par with the kind of city Dadeville is. 

Tony Brook and Yve Mary Brook are the married couple that make up The Gypsy Candlesticks. The pair were in town and walking around the square when they heard music playing from the center during a rehearsal. Of course, the two stuck around and were soon playing a show. Their music is described as a trans-Atlantic blend of Alabama Americana and blues with indie and folk traditions of the British Isles.
