The owner of Barbie Street Food gained her dream from her grandmother. 

When Monesha Adamson was growing up, she would watch her grandmother prepare meals for her family. Adamson fondly remembers sitting and talking with her grandmother while she was baking a cake or using deer meat to make the hamburgers.
